or WAYS TO GET INVOLVED
 
  • Moment for the Persecuted Church - (Open Doors) In Turkey, five Muslim extremists invaded a Christian publishing office in the southeastern province of Malatya on April 18 and slit the throats of three Christians who were present.  Two of the victims were converts from Islam.  The third was a German citizen.  Two of the men leave wives and children behind.  The third was engaged to be married.  Remember our penny drive to supply Bibles for persecuted Christians.  The website is www.persecution.com.  Please see the website for more information about Voice of the Martyrs.
  • OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD - Now is the time to start filling those shoeboxes!!!!  Walmart and other stores are having sales on school supplies such as crayons, glue sticks, pencils, sharpeners, erasers and paper.  We will be collection the shoeboxes in October.  If you have any questions, please contact the church office (855-5576) or Sally McCaslin (855-5596).

     

  •  GREEN BEAN TEAM UPDATE (food pantry) - Our food pantry is doing well.  Thanks for your assistance with this ministry.
     
  •  BIRTHRIGHT - Birthright is in need of several items:  Blanket sleepers (size 6 m and up), oneies (all sizes), diapers size 3 and 4, crib sheets, socks (sizes 2T to 4T) and pajamas (all sizes).  Please drop off any items to Birthright (303 S 6th St, Richmond) or call the church office(855-5576) for pick-up.

  • WANTED JR CHURCH HELPERS - We are in need of an adult to help during Jr. church on the third Sunday of every month.   Please contact Liz Smith or the church office (855-5576)
